My phone can connect to wifi however will not use the free roaming internet I have from the 20euro a month deal. I've reset the internet connection settings but it still doesn't work. How can I resolve this?

Try all of the steps here to configured your internet settings - not just for Samsung Galaxy phones in spite of the link name:

You presumably know that the phone will generally not use the carrier data connection as long as it can use wifi instead?
