I previously had an iPhone and it would say 3G for my network coverage.

Now that I'm with 48 and using my galaxy note it says H or H+, is H the same as 3G?

Cheers for your help

I found this with Google in about two minutes...

G is gprs 86kbps
E is EDGE 236kbps
3G is UMTS 386kbps
H is HSDPA 3.2Mbps
H+ is HSPA 7.2Mbps
H+ is too for HSPA+ for 14.4Mbps or 21.1Mbps

some phones doesnt show H or H+ , they just show 3G for UMTS, HSDPA, HSPA, HSPA+
only G or E means its on 2G, u r not in 3G coverage

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply

Am I right in saying so that H or H+ is faster than 3G? I always assumed that 3G was the fastest
