You shouldn't have to wait until Tuesday.
Both 48 and eir support would be available over the weekend.
Factory reset sounds like a random suggestion to me.
What make and model of phone is it?
What exactly is the problem?
You haven't described it in detail here on the forum.
You say that the phone was locked to eir and you got an unlock code but that didn't work.
So isn't that your problem?
You need an unlocked phone to use 48 but yours is still locked to eir even if they're saying that it's not?

If that doesn't help then you'll have to contact 48 support.
But be aware that many people have reported problems with roaming lately.
