Problem activating replacement SIM for my son

Ordered new sim card for my son as sim wasn't working. Phone said insert sim card.I put new sim card into phone but can't activate it as my credit page keeps appearing. How can I activate it or is it a new plan completely

APN isn't 48, it's Tesco. Is this normal?

I've just signed up to 48 on an Android phone. Once I installed the sim everything pretty much did itself. However, the APN is reading as Tesco Mobile and not 48. What's this about?
