Email threatening SIM disconnection & seeking personal info

AdrienneB1560

I have being receiving emails bthreatening
to disconnect my Sim card
asking for my name D of B snd
my address they want and card details

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Almost certainly a scam/phishing attempt.

What exactly does the email say?

Is it purporting to be from 48 or someone else?

I'd just ignore it.

I certainly wouldn't reply or provide any personal info requested.

48 would not send such a seemingly threatening email or request such details by email in such a manner.

Contact 48 support and ask them if there's anything up with your account/SIM.

See the links in my signature below.

I am not a 48 employee - if you need to contact 48 support you can do so by chat, email (support@48months.zendesk.com) or phone.

telling me they are 3

Three don't send emails to 48 users.

I'm pretty certain that this is a scam.

What did 48 support tell you when you contacted them?

Don't reply to those emails.

Just delete them.
