I ordered a new replacement sim and when it arrived i could not activate and was told my old sim had not been blocked properly so i had to wait a week for my new sim to be activated and now its been activated i have a whole new phone number i never requested ??

Are you sure that you ordered a replacement SIM:
And not a brand new SIM?
You'll almost certainly need to contact 48 support about this issue.

no it was definitely a replacement sim, if it was a brand new sim can i still get my old number back ?

No, it needs to be a replacement SIM to retain the same number.
I don't know what's going on here.
You need to talk to 48 support about it.
Only they will be in a position to help.
