Verification codes from Google and Postmark not received

I'm being having this issue for a few days.

I'm unable to login to a Postmark account that I own as I am not receiving the SMS required for 2FA. Same when I try to access Google services that send an SMS for authentication. Other Irish based providers are ok - Zurich, Raisin Bank, etc.

Postmark has been rock solid in terms of performance and reliability for almost 8 years for me now. I only swapped to 48.ie in the past few months and this was Postmark's first request for a 2FA code from me.

I received the following response from 48 Chat dialog -

"Incoming SMS services are free for all numbers. These services (Postmark & Google) may have observed that a change has recently taken place on your number such as moving networks, a SIM replacement or even a new phone. I’d recommend making contact with them to let them know you aren’t receiving your verification messages and this has happened since you’ve recently moved networks. Once they are aware of the change they can help in resolving this for you."

Postmark are saying - 

"Postmark doesn’t have any SIM-swap or carrier-change detection for phone numbers. For Postmark’s own 2FA, it only knows the phone number string you configured; it does not see or react to which network you’re on, which SIM you’re using, or whether you’ve ported the number. "

Joining the dots here is pointing to something on 48.ie's side. 

Has anybody experienced similar? Any ideas?

Several people have reported similar problems receiving some 2FA verification SMS messages from time to time. 

I've never seen a guaranteed solution posted though. 

So unfortunately I personally can't suggest anything other than persisting with 48 and Google/Postmark support.
