i had to manually put the settings onto my phone for internet and mms and it says it was a success and my configuration has been sent, i havent yet received it and ive redone it three times and i still havent got the message. please help.

Yeah - the online configurator never sent configuration messages for some people/phones - including me when I tried my old Huawei Ascend G300. 48 support were never able to explain to me why I got no message... You might have to try one of the other approaches to configuring the internet/APN/MMS settings. See here:
