Hi,

 

is there a way to buy an internet add-on for roaming, like we can with texts and calls?

You mean for internet access while roaming abroad?

Unfortunately not. 48 don't support data/internet access while roaming abroad at all.

While abroad you need to make do with wifi access wherever available.

I bought 2Gs of extra data for roaming after being directed to it when i clicked the link for roaming add ons! Very misleading! not happy! Want my €6 back

I don't understand.

Can you clarify exactly where/how you think that you were misled into buying data that would work while roaming abroad?

I can't see where it implies that data will work while roaming abroad.

Quite the opposite in fact:

 

"Data roaming can be expensive, so we don't support it right now. We recommend you go find a local WiFi hotspot!"

Neither does it say that data will work while roaming abroad.

 

You might want to get onto 48 support if you still think that you were misled and you want a refund.

Sorry - I replied then realised that I made a mistake so deleted it.

 

I don't see the problem here.

The first link (Buy EU Roaming add-ons) links to the second page but only the EU add-on options are enabled and others such as 1GB Data are disabled so you cannot buy them.

 

Maybe you can clarify where your problem arose?

agree with the sender it can be misleadig .thinking we can buy internet add ons abroad.
