What does your online account say about your membership status, expiry date and allowance balances?
Do you get a signal/connection to the 48 network?
If not can you manually scan for networks and connect to 48?
I wonder if, after the outage the other day, you need to reactivate the iPhone on the network which would need at least 25c cash credit (to cover the cost of a UK SMS that gets sent automatically) and might also need a reboot and/or a sync with iTunes.
