How long SIM active?

Hi,

 

I've trawled FAQs and searched this forum but can't find a definitive answer. 

 

If my membership expires, as I understand it, I can still receive calls/texts, but can't make outgoing calls/send texts, etc.

 

How long will the SIM stay active if I don't renew membership?

Terminating and ending the agreement

 

8.1 You can end your agreement with us at any stage by not using the 48 Services and choosing not to top up your Account at any stage over a 6 month period ...

 

8.4 When this agreement ends we will disconnect you from the Network ...

 

Judging by this section after that happens you can still recover your account and number for several (seven?) months after that even though you are disconnected from the network:

 

Suspending the 48 Services

 

7.3 ... Your service will then remain suspended for a further 5 months and can be reconnected at any time during this period. ...

 

If necessary ask 48 support for clarification:

I’m after activation my sim. How long does it take?

Getting Started - Activate your 48 SIM.

 

Activating your SIM should be more or less instantaneous.

If that's not the case then you might need to contact 48 support.

The chat facility is usually the best/quickest way to get issues resolved.
