To configure your internet settings follow the instructions here
You also need cash credit to be able to send MMS messages.
30c each.
If you cannot send texts and you still have a text allowance via your membership or add-on then that's a separate issue that you'll have to contact 48 support about.

You mean 48 had to deal with the SMS issue?
I presume that configuring your internet settings and adding cash credit allowed you to send MMS messages?
