Add on roaming mins & texts

Hi I went on holiday for a week and bought roaming minutes and texts the morning before I left and I had no service the entire time I was on holidays. Absolutely disgusted as I had no contact with anyone at home. How do I get a refund?

Looks like you have an iPhone?

If so the almost certainly this was the issue:

 

iPhone abroad issue

 

This is an iPhone problem and not a 48 problem.

It affects other networks too (e.g. Tesco).

 

Contact 48 support if you want to complaing or ask for a refund but I don't know if that's likely to happen (I don't work for 48 so don't know):

Remember that the EU roaming add-ons also only work in the EU.

A few people have bought them before while roaming in non EU countries and complained when they did not work.
