I'm travelling to the US next week and need my phone and mobile data working.
What do I need to do to ensure it works?
Do I need to change settings and/or add credit and how do do this?

48 don't support data in the US - just calls and texts.
Data roaming is only available in the EU/EEA/UK.

5. Travelling outside the EU
If you need to use data outside the EU/UK, Wi-Fi is readily available in public locations. If you require your own mobile data, then we suggest picking up a local network SIM and availing of either a data only package or membership equivalent plan.

"48 don't support data in the US - just calls and texts."
That is a pity....looks like I'll need to change from 48
