Unable to turn on sim pin lock

I’ve an iPhone 11 and im unable to turn on sim pin lock using pin 1

Im getting the error unable to lock sim

I’ve 1 attempt left

Also will my puk code definitely unlock my sim

Here's how to enable SIM PIN locking on an iPhone.

You must be using the wrong PIN.

Enter the wrong PIN again for the third time and then use your PUK to unlock the SIM and then choose a PIN that you'll remember.

It’s pin 1 stamped on the physical card that came with my sim

4 digits i dont see how it can possibly be wrong as the puk code on it is same as the puk code in my account


I won’t be making a 3rd attempt at the moment i simply couldn’t risk the puk not working and having no phone

The PUK will work if you enter the PIN incorrectly a third time.
