Hi, I bought a new sim free phone and put my old sim card in it but it won't allow me to phone or text. The message says, No Sim or Sim Error. Can anyone help me please. Thanks

If your SIM is a nano then it'll be too small to fit into the new phone and the size difference would be obvious.
What make and model of phone were you using before?
Did you try the other suggestions that I made above?

What is the exact error?
Is it literally "No SIM or SIM error"?
Is the phone brand new or second hand?
Are you absolutely sure that the phone is unlocked for use on any network?
Have you tried taking the SIM out, gently cleaning the contacts and inserting it again?
Would you have another SIM to try in it?
Can you do a factory reset of the phone with the SIM inserted?
Hope this helps.

Yes - it takes a micro SIM:

Where did you buy it?
How do you know that it's unlocked?
Can you address the other questions that I asked above?
Hope this helps.

If your existing SIM was working in your old phone but won't work in the new phone then it points to the new phone as being the problem.
It's possible that trying a replacement SIM may help but it sounds unlikely given the info posted so far:
This should explain how to do a factory reset of your phone:

Which model is it?
The 3G one or 4G one?
Hope this helps.

Hi,
It's the 3G

OK - thanks.
You should try the suggestions that I mentioned above.
If the SIM works in your old phone and not in the new one then you may need to go back to Argos with it.
It would be worth seeing if another 48 or other network SIM works in it first though.
Hope this helps.
