it wont let me top up wit my visa card

A few people have been reporting this lately. 

The only thing that I can think of is that you might need to enable 3D secure validation on the card?

But if the card was working before then maybe that's irrelevant?

Either way probably best to log a support query to ask 48 to look into it:

In the meantime you may need to topup by voucher and buy your membership/addons by text or online from the credit balance:

I need to speak to a agent...I'm stuck with no credit because it won't take my card details. ..there should be a free text msg or free call for support. ...Help what do u for? ???

The only way to contact 48 support is online:

What sort of card is it?

Is it issued by an Irish bank?

What error do you get when you try to use/register it?

 

Obviously DON'T post the card number etc. here.

 

You can topup your cash credit balance by voucher until you get this sorted:

Then you can buy membership/add-ons by text or online and pay for them from your topped up cash credit balance.

 

How do I buy stuff by text?
