SIM card issue

Out of no where my signal went on Saturday and it's only working indoorsI switched my sim and my phone keeps saying there's no sim entered even though it's inserted. I activated my sim yesterday and it's still not working:(

I have no coverage in my house. It has been fine up to this, a bit spotty if there is a storm but nothing major. There has been no storms recently to knock out towers in the area. So why have I lost coverage?

3 of us are 48 in my house and the coverage for 48 is gone so bad the past few months. It says we have coverage but can't recieve calls or texts! It's perfect in other places just not where we live. It used to be perfect??
