Dear all,
For my holidays I stayed abroad but did not buy a EU roaming add-on for texts. Nevertheless, I texted friends because I forgot about it and was wondering why they did not recieve any of my messages.
Now, when I will come back to Ireland and entering the 48month-mobile network, will all my texts be sended then? And if yes, is there any chance to stop this now? - Otherwise, some friends would get a lot of texts from the last two weeks...
In other words, are all my texts I wrote abroad without roaming add-on on hold and will get sended as soon as I enter Ireland?
Thanks for any help!

If you are abroad and have no EU roaming texts add-on (which obviously only works in the EU) then texts are charged to your cash credit balance.
If you have no cash credit on your account then the texts will simply not get sent.
Where you have no add-on or cash credit to cover the cost of sending texts while roaming abroad then I would expect that you would get an error when you try to send a text.
Did that happen?
When the texts fail to send they are NOT queued/stored up to be sent when you return home.
Hope this helps.

What sort of phone is this and what app is the "chat timeline" in?
If these are indeed regular texts that did not get sent then I would expect that an error would have been indicated somehow.
But maybe it depends on what network you're on abroad or something.

I have a Sony Xperia and I use the standart messaging app from Sony.
Currently I use the Vodaphone network...
But as I said, I did not get any error. neither as seperated texts nor in the relevant chats...
