No service at all after returning from abroad

I went abroad and couldn't use data anymore so my sister helped me out by reconfiguring the APN. Now that I'm back in Ireland my SIM isn't working again, not even for calls and texts. I tried reconfiguring the APN again but it's still no use. Any idea what could be wrong?
