Recently bought a Motorola Moto E 2nd Gen Lite and used the settings 48 gives you for a generic phone to set up internet. That worked for setting up wi-fi but I still have no 3G.
When I went onto the Automated Service to see if that would work but it didn't have my model of phone. When I followed the steps for that - enter *#06# into the phone and enter the number that comes up it says invalid.
At a loss as to what to do now!

What instructions tell you to dial *#06#?
That's the code to get your IMEI and I don't think that's needed to configure your internet settings...?!
I presume that you have a data allowance?
Dial *100*8# to check.
Anyway, manually configure your settings as explained here:
http://community.48months.ie/t5/Need-Help/Internet/m-p/34493#M12560
Reboot your phone.
If it still doesn't work then contact 48 support for assistance.
Hope this helps.

See here:
http://support.meteor.ie/smartphonehelp#/motorola/moto-g/internet/usecase/set-up-internet-on-phone
But use the 48 settings not the Meteor ones mentioned there.
Also make sure to enable data roaming.
Hope this helps.
