Not getting texts or calls from 3

Hi there
Ever since I joined 48 3 years ago I have not been able to receive calls or texts from the three number or receive automated texts and I know its something to do with keeping my number because none of my friends did and their accounts are all fine?
Please help

I had a problem last weekend where 3 texts from Meteor failed to arrive by others later the same day did...
