Ok, so I'm heading away and I'm wondering if I need to plump for a new phone when I get there (or before I go).

I have an iPhone, originally tied to the Meteor network, now with 48.

I suppose my real question is:
Is my phone locked to 48 now or can I fire away with a new SIM and if it is locked, do I need to get codes etc. before I head away.

I hope this makes sense....

No your phone is not locked to 48.
