Did it work before - i.e. were you able to make regular calls and not just emergency calls before now?
If so when did it stop working?
What does your online account say about your membership status and expiry date?
Any chance you breached the fair usage limits and got barred for the remainder of your current memberhsip month?

Did calls ever work for you?
Do you have data roaming enabled?
If you manually scan for networks which do you see and what happens when you try to connect to 48 (or O2 if 48 is not listed) assuming you see it?
Is your phone unlocked for use on any network?
