Unfortunately, I can't download apps.. The only internet setting I can changeon my phone is the APN. I can't input any other information for the generic settings

Why can't you download apps? Can't you do this over wifi?
Are you saying that when you try to add a new APN you cannot edit any of the APN settings? That sounds very odd.
You might want to log a support request to see if 48 can help you with this:

No I don't have a smart phone, it just has wifi but no apps.
I can add an APN, which I did, but I cannot add the MMSC or any other settings, they are not on my phone.

I also cannot contect a 48 agent..... Is rhere any way of talking to someone from 48 about this?

Isn't your Alcatel OneTouch an Android SmartPhone? What exact model do you have?

If you have configured the APN and enabled data/data roaming then internet access should be working. Is it?
I presume you mean SMSC not MMSC? If you do have an Android phone then is this any use for setting the SMSC?
