It could be for any of the reasons below. Run through the checklist.
Is the phone unlocked? If not then we have some help here http://community.48months.ie/t5/Most-Popular-Questions-Knowledge/How-to-unlock-your-phone/ta-p/272.
Sync your phone with iTunes.
Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS. See how here http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4623.
Toggle Airplane mode On and Off.
Try turning the iPhone off and then on again.
Check for a carrier settings update. Tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, a prompt will appear.
Remove the SIM Card and check that it is not damaged or worn. Then reinsert it.
Still no luck?? Then I’m afraid it’s time to get in contact with Apple. You can contact them a few ways, check herehttp://www.apple.com/support/contact/.
