How do I know long have I left on 48?
I am unlocking an iphone 5but need to go through all the hassle of getting a new sim. I don't know how long I have left on my 48 contract.
Anyone know where I can find this out?
Also... If I order a new nano sim with my number, will there be a few days that my own sim will be redundant.
Also.... Where do I go online to order a new sim?

48 is pay as you go. There is no contract so I don't really understand your first question.

See here for info about getting a replacement SIM (e.g. of a different size/form factor) that can be activated when you get it so you don't go offline until it arrives:

I thought the 48 network only lasts for 48 months? Or is this just a marketing ploy and it lasts outright???

I think it's just a marketing thing myself.
