Does this happen on every call or just some?
What sort of number are you trying to call - Irish mobile, Irish landline, "special" numbers (e.g. 1850 etc.), international?
What does your online account say about your membership status, expiry date and mobile and landline calls allowance balances?
Do incoming calls work OK?
Do outgoing and incoming texts work OK?
Does data/internet access work OK?
