Hi,
Just wanted to check something - I have to make a call to a UK (English) landline, and 50c per minute is genuinely too pricey. An EU roaming add-on wouldn't help here would it?

No. EU roaming add-ons no longer exist but were never for making international calls anyway.
The only way to make international calls on 48 is with cash credit to pay for them.
Would WhatsApp or Skype or something similar be an option?
Hope this helps.

Hi Dalyer,
Thanks for confirming. Forgive how much of an idiot I might sound, but can I call a UK number via Whatsapp??

I meant if the person you need to call in the UK is also a WhatsApp user
https://faq.whatsapp.com/en/android/28000016
I also sometimes use www.13434.ie for cheap international calls.
Hope this helps.

Ah right. No it's an office so Whatsapp wouldn't work I don't think. That's great, thanks for all the help Dalyer!
