My 48 sim is only 2G or 3G capable

My aim is over two years old and does not offer other than 2 or 3G connections, never get the option for 4G anywhere in Dublin since I started using it. Is this just happening to me or are others having this issue?

What make and model of phone are you using?

Are you sure that it's not a handset from abroad that maybe doesn't support the Irish 4G frequencies?

Or could it be configured to avoid using Irish 4G frequencies?

Can you try your SIM in another phone?
