Leaving 48 but new provider (Eir) unable to port my number.

I am using my telephone number as account number and selecting single line

Finally got sorted.  Advised to use "Prepaid registered" for account type (and Telephone nr.)

Then took about 15 minutes to completely come "live"

Bye 48

Eir support really should be your first port of call on such an issue.

If you need to contact 48 support also then see the links in my signature below.

I am not a 48 employee - if you need to contact 48 support you can do so by chat, email (support@48months.zendesk.com) or phone.

Hi

Thanks, EIR are trying,  but 48 does not accept the request to port the number.  Tried few times yesterday and today

and thanks for the email address of support

Hi,

Eir still unable to port my number from 48.  They get the message that account number was incorrect or unavailable unavailable.

Is this some diabolical plan to stop people leaving 48 ?

Aom

I'd be more inclined to explain it using Hanlon's Razor than a conspiracy theory:

You'll just have to persist with Eir/48 support to get this rectified.

Nobody here on the Community Forum is going to really be able to help unfortunately.
