How to port number when out of contract with old provider?

Out of contract with my own number and can't receive texts to verify from My48, how can keep my own number please?

Hi I moved my number 48 but I want to use old number I don’t wanna use 48 numbers because my old number important for me. Please can you fix as soon as possible

When will my number be ported?

I’ve requested to keep my own number while activating my sim. I’ve requested this late on a Friday eve and I’m not sure when the porting will happen! Can someone please enlighten me! Thank you
