Did you activate your SIM?
What exactly do you think that you did wrong so far?
Is your phone unlocked for use on any network?
Please describe in detail what exactly you have done so far, what you think hasn't been done properly, any error messages that you encounter etc.
When you get the SIM and phone set up you may want to port your number over from 3 and configure your APN settings.
