New SIM activated. No internet connection.

I got my new SIM today, installed and activated. It shows a network connection, but when I try to access a website (or load an app that needs a connection) I get an error saying I'm not connected.

 

EDIT: Changing the APN settings appears to have fixed this.

Yes - you have to configure your internet/APN settings before carrier data internet access will work.
