Hi
I am wondering if anybody knows if a more update phone would guarantee not having to the roaming switch manually.
I find this stressful everytime I travel. Sometimes it works and other times I can't get it to switch at all.
I'd like to avoid this situation but I don't wanna spend money on a new phone if it naturally do the process

I don't think that a different phone is going to guarantee anything in this context.
All that I can suggest is the usual stuff. ..
If your SIM predates January 2023 then get a replacement in case that helps:
Then check these threads in case they help:

I don't think that there's anything else that can be done.
I don't know why some people have such problems with roaming while others don't.
And 48 have never explained it or, better still, fixed the issue.
If you need to contact 48 support then see the links in my signature below.

So it's not a because I don't have 5g technology?
Sorry if that's a stupid question, I'm not very good with technology.

You mean problems with roaming connectivity while abroad?
5G is irrelevant in that context.
