What is the one-time activation cost?

Hi guys just wondering what does the one time activation cost mean?

Exactly that - it's a one time activation charge that applies when you buy your first membership plan.

This €12.99 Plan is only available to new 48 customers who order their 48 SIM and purchase a €12.99 Plan from the 5^th April 2022. A one-time activation fee of €12.99 applies with the first plan purchase.

Means I won't be paying it lol . Just got my SIM only to discover they want 12.99 to activate SIM and 12.99 for credit 😆 not a hopen...

From time to time 48 run a "second month free" offer which effectively cancels out the one-time activation fee. 

It's not running at the moment but I wouldn't be surprised if it was run again over Christmas/New Year 2025/2026.

Also, if you get your SIM via a Recruit and Reward referral link then you'll receive free credit which effectively cancels out the activation fee in part or full.
