What country are you in?
48 doesn't support roaming in every country/region.
Do you have a connection to a local network - i.e. signal bars?
If not then if you do a manual search for networks can you connect to one?
If not then what happens? Any error messages?
For roaming issues the usual general advice applies...
Unfortunately many people still seem to have problems with roaming abroad on 48 for some reason.
(On the other hand all the people who have no problems don't post to report their positive experiences!)
