In Portugal - 5G and sms, but no calls

I'm In Portugal - 5G internet and sms are working, but I can't make it receive any calls on either of two networks. I changed phones recently and never had an issue before. Anything I can try, or is singing going on on your side?

I've never heard of that happening - i.e. connection to the local network working while roaming and texts and mobile data working but incoming/outgoing calls not working. 

I think you'll have to contact 48 support for assistance with this.

Found the solution myself, though the chat support was very friendly and tried to help.
I'm my case the issue was caused by the 'Mobile Network Security' setting on my Pixel 9a. It was activated by default and because of it 2G networks were being avoided. Turns out 48 only uses 2G networks for calls, even though I was connected to 4G and 5G for data, and SMS, which both worked fine.
Once Mobile Network Security was deactivated I was able to make and receive calls again.
