You can either buy the EU roaming text add-on (35 texts for €2 or 5.7c per text) or just pay for outgoing texts from your credit balance (7c per text).

If you plan on making or receiving calls the EU roaming calls add-on may be worth looking at particularly because it means that incoming calls are free.
