I currently just got an iPhone 5 and during set up the activation failed. "The SIM that you currently have installed in this iPhone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server." Its telling me to request that my carrier unlock the iPhone. What do i do?
Oh and the phone is already unlocked.

I am currently using the same SIM in my old phone so the SIM works.

When you get notified that your iphone is unlocked, you need to restore your iphone with iTunes to tell your phone its now unlocked. your activation will then work will all sims.

This applies for all factory unlocking for all iphones, you must restore, and not restore from backup (there both different restores)

hope this helps
