Sony Xperia internet help

hi i got a new Sony Xperia E phone & tryed to use my internet with the wifi its not allowing me saying iv no internet connection which i do with the brodband ..  iv tyed the settings undernet the 48 community where iv to put in the deteals the name <APN mms proxy ect the are all put in ?? what am i doing worng can you get back to me many thanks
