Depends on the option that you chose when odering a replacement SIM.
If you chose the "swap my SIM" option then your existing SIM will not be disabled and will continue working.
If you chose the "block my SIM" option then your existing SIM will be disabled and will stop working.
If your existing SIM does become disabled and stops working then contact 48 support to see if they can get int back working again:
