Can you text premium SMS numbers 5XXXX when you have credit with 48?

I don't think so. Others have tried and failed. The price list does not make it clear whether or not they work. I don't think that 48 supports them.

48 haven't supported sending texts to premium SMS 5xxxx numbers for years.

I don't see any indication of this changing (other than texting "APN" to 50048 for APN settings for phones that support such provisioning).

You might want to check with 48 support in case they know of any imminent change.
