Mobile data turning off when GPS activates

Hi, I'm not sure if this has anything to do with me moving to 48 or not but recently whenever I am using mobile data and try to use am app that requires GPS my mobile data keeps disappearing. Using a HTC one with lollipop.

Sounds very odd.

I can't think of why this would be a 48 network issue.

Did it work OK before one another network?

Is the phone hacked in any way - e.g. rooted, custom ROM etc.?

Hi, yes it worked previously. Never been rooted and using the standard HTC Rom. I have googled it to see if other people are reporting a similar problem with HTC ones but there doesn't seem to be.
