International card and "Your payment has not been accepted due to security limitations"

I cannot buy membership because of error "Your payment has not been accepted due to security limitations" - it seems to me because of my debit card is not Irish. Why non-irish cards in Euro are not accepted? Did I miss something? I can use this card everywhere but not here?

Not sure if the fact that it's a non Irish card is the issue.

A few people have reported this sort of problem before even with Irish cards.

In some cases it may be because you need to register for 3D secure verification of payments (e.g. Verified By VISA or equivalent):

In other cases it may be due to some other limitation. 

Probably best to contact your bank and/or 48 support for advice on why it doesn't work.

Hi, I've contacted my Bank and it hasn't received and transaction request (so none transaction was declined on bank side). My bank doesn't ofeer 3D-Secure protection so card doesn't use it. I could pay by UK card in pounds however I would like to use Euro card because it is without exchange fees and as well I won't have pounds account too long. It might be reason pound card working that it uses 3D-Secure. Could you explain if 3D-Secure is minimal requirement to do transaction on 48? If it's not 3D-Secure could you say what steps can be proceed to resolve this issue.

Update on this. Irish and UK cards are accepted by 48.

And now cards from France, Spain, Germany, United States and Italy are also accepted for payments of up to €20.

Try another device and/or browser.
Online payment really seem very hit and miss lately.
