Incoming calls not connecting 1st time - only 2nd time

I am not receiving incoming calls at 1st go they need to call me twice
If any important call i am not able know which call it is.
So help me to resolve it as soon as possible

Is it an iPhone by any chance?

If it is then it sounds like Do Not Disturb is enabled with the Repeated Calls option also enabled.

That means that calls are blocked but if a second call comes from the same caller within 3 minutes then it gets through.
