I can not receive texts from europe!!!!

So... can you send/receive texts to them?

Can you call/text other network's from your phone here?

Are your friend's abroad on 48/another Irish network also?

Perhap's if they are on 48 or even another Irish mobile network - they need to check/top-up their allowance/balance for sending such text's (?)

Hi.my friends they use different network from europe and if someone text me from ireland i receive and send no problem.i didnt try to text back to europe cos im short in credit but it should work no??

Absolutely!

As you said, you would need to ensue you had adequate credit in your balance - & also, that you have the correct code & number - which i'm sure you already know!

I would have to suggest that your friend should also re-check the code they use to send you messages from abroad...it should be (example)
00353 89 *******

I'm not too sure on iphone's as i have never owned one... but if your phone is functioning perfect in every way on 48, the text issue must be because of another reason!

All i can suggest here is to add some credit to your balance - & text them instead, if it send's & deliver's then from your perspective, your phone is working fine.

Just to be clear - not having credit is not the reason you cannot receive texts from international numbers.

The obvious thing to check - as mentioned above - is that the sender is using the correct number (e.g. +353891234567 if your number is 0891234567).

Yes the sender use the corect number but i believe maybe there is a problem from the network he text me...thanks!
