I am connected to the internet but only with hedge, no 3g

My phone cant connect to 3g. So I use hedge which isn't fast enough. What is wrong?

Is the option to use 2G only checked in settings?

What network are you connected to - 2G or 3G?

Are you in a 3G coverage area?
