I have ordered the 48 sim card and moved my number from o2 to 48 . I unlocked my phone so that I could put the 48 sim card in and get it working , but once I put the 48 sim card into my phone it says that it is on roaming and I can't make any calls . I have not payed the membership yet , could that be the problem ?

You have to buy membership before you can make calls/send texts/use internet/

You should be able to receive calls/texts if you want to test the SIM.

The roaming issue happens for some people (e.g. me - on several phones) and can be ignored - see here:
