In my experience it should be instantaneous once the payment has gone through. Are you 100% sure that you entered the correct number? Does the My History link in your account clarify what number the topup went to?

Thanks it isn't listed here. I also paid my own membership and on my 'My 48' page it says it has gone through but that isn't listed in the My History either. Maybe its just taking time to go through??

Does your main account page reflect your recent membership purchase?
I'm not sure that the My History page is always accurate. I'm sure that I made purchases that never appeared there now that I think of it..
